RPCL Employees celebrate Labour Day.

Since the beginning of November 2023, RPCL has started to produce interim energy from the 80MW Regional Rusumo Falls Hydro Power Plant. May 1st marked an important day in RPCL's calendar as it joins the rest of the World in commemorating Labour Day.
On this occasion, RPCL celebrated not only the global celebration of Labour Day but also its milestone achievement. During the festivities, RPCL management took the opportunity to recognize the exemplary contributions of three members of the staff namely Thomas Ngabwanayo, Protection and controls technician, Hamisi S. Mvula, Plant Operator, and Pascal Nteziryayo, handyman.
The three staff were awarded the best employees of the year 2023 based on key criteria: Discipline, Innovation, Integrity and Exemplary performance. The overall winner Thomas Ngabwanayo received a price consisting of a Samsung 65-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart Neo QLED TV; the first runner-up Hamisi S. Mvula received a price consisting of a Samsung 55-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart Neo QLED TV, and the second runner up Pascal Nteziryayo received a price of consisting of a Samsung 43-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart Neo QLEDTV
In the speeches of RPCL Managers; MD, PM and FAM, they recognized that success relies on both the individual and the collective efforts within the organization. Whether it's the visionary leadership that guides us forward or the dedicated staff who work tirelessly in the field, each person plays a crucial role in our journey.
During the celebratory event, RPCL management took a moment to recognize the outstanding efforts of three staff members who have consistently gone above and beyond in their roles
As a thank you for their outstanding contributions, each of the three staff members received a special gift from RPCL management. These gifts served as symbols of gratitude and recognition, reflecting RPCL's commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and excellence within the organization.
