A delegation from the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania residing in Kigali, Rwanda, make a visit to Rusumo Power Company Limited as part of the strengthening of regional cooperation.
This visit allowed the members of the delegation to learn about the progress of the company's activities, its role in the production and distribution of electrical energy as well as its contribution to regional integration between the project's partner countries.
Discussions also focused on opportunities for collaboration, sustainable development and the socio-economic benefits generated by the Rusumo hydropower project for the people of the region.
The visit demonstrates the continued commitment of partner states to promote regional cooperation, economic integration and the development of energy infrastructure for communities.
